From Passion to Profession: My Journey to Becoming a Certified KonMari Consultant and Spreading the Joy of Tidying in Michigan

This was it. The ultimate call of action for me to embark on the journey to become a Certified KonMari Consultant.

Not only do I owe it to myself, but also to the world, to use this unique talent that has been within me since a young age. I didn’t know why I found more joy in organizing my home than in doing things other kids enjoyed. I couldn’t explain why tidying never exhausted me but instead gave me more energy. I kept this passion to myself and didn’t share it with many people.

The Start of My KonMari Journey

My KonMari Origin Story began when I discovered Marie Kondo's transformative approach to decluttering and organizing through her book, 'The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up.' Inspired by Marie’s philosophy and her work in Japan, I felt a strong motivation to help people in my community experience the transformative magic of tidying up. This motivation led me to become a KonMari Consultant, allowing me to guide and support others on their own journey towards a more organized and joyful life.

The Inspiration Behind the Method

Marie Kondo is truly inspirational to me due to her simple yet powerful method of finding joy in all aspects of life. Her philosophy, centered around identifying what sparks joy, has not only revolutionized the way I organize my surroundings but has also influenced my mindset and priorities. Marie's teachings extend beyond decluttering, fostering a more intentional and meaningful lifestyle. Through her wisdom, Marie Kondo has empowered me to cultivate a mindset that values and celebrates the things that genuinely bring joy to my heart.

My Offerings

As a KonMari Consultant, I bring a positive and inclusive approach to decluttering, making the journey towards a joy-filled and organized life not only transformative but also enjoyable for everyone involved. Today, I am so blessed to be able to do what I am good at to spark joy in my family and my community in Michigan.
